Task three reflection:

In the second week, I work on task three its foxes on the literacy. My MST makes special day on a week that’s on Thursday. To improve skills of students on speaking, writing and listening. The teacher reads a story for students and asks them about the meaning of words and asks for pictures on it.For example: describe the picture, what is color on it? In addition, when he finish read a story with students he asks them to write the title of a story in the special paper of reading that because make practice in writing for them.

I think the reading it’s the key to the knowledge that because if a students read more he/she will improve in speaking and writing and get more information about the world. I think this way it’s already available in a UAE primary classroom because there is a recommendation from ADEC to encourage students to read every day at least 5 minutes. In addition, the curriculum has the plan to improve reading skill for students. I believe these practice will affect students learning and reading levels in a primary school that because almost all agree that some amount of reading is essential to becoming a good reader.

Expertise does not arise without active assistance. Some teachers would advocate that the best way to become a skillful reader is by reading extensively and regularly. When students read a passage or a book, they usually have a reason for doing it. Moreover, when they avoid reading a text that they may be supposed to read, they usually have a reason for their resistance. The most famous reason for recreational reading is "I enjoy it." This reason refers to interest or essential motivation, which means doing something for its own sake, and these motivations are internal to the student. That reason will help me as a teacher to attention for the motivations of students to encourage a student to read every day.
